Case study
Meath Gardens Management

Meath Gardens Management Company Limited

Originally built by renowned house-builder, Banner Homes, in 2008, Meath Gardens is a charming housing development comprising 14 two, three and four bedroom houses in Meath Green, Horley.

With a private road and communal land to maintain, Banner Homes, acting as Meath Gardens Management Company appointed Grange as managing agent during the construction and sales stages. Banner Homes then handed over the running of the company to residents in 2009, who have continued to use Grange’s services.

Over the past two years, Grange has been responsible for a range of services:

  • Maintaining frequent communication with the residents and directors of the Meath Gardens Management Company
  • Managing Meath Gardens, conducting site inspections and holding residents meetings
  • Placing the contract for grounds maintenance
  • Arranging insurance
  • Paying utility bills
  • Arranging reactive repairs
  • Managing the long term reserve fund for major capital replacement or repairs
  • Managing the Meath Gardens Management Company bank account – collecting service charges and dealing with any debtors
Simon Ashton, one of the directors of Meath Gardens Management Company Ltd (and resident) said:

"To date we have had no issues or concerns to address. Whilst we have not seen a need to improve the services, Grange has really helped to develop a better working relationship between the residents and the directors of the company.

We would definitely recommend the services of Grange to others. We don't want to consider moving agents ...to our mind ...if it ain't broke don't fix it!"
